A feature request from a user that Omri also likes.
Proposal:
Press and hold the active button to enter looping mode. This also turns the slice active regardless of previous state. This automatically start the slice playing as well.
Press and hold it again to turn it back to a regular active.
In looping mode AND active light is Gold.
While playing the slice can not be retriggered (this is the current functionality, and would remain)
The CV input for Active would still function like it does now, turning the active state on and off. If the active state is off when the slice ends that will stop the looping. The active light will turn off. But the slice will remember that it is looping mode and the next CV input will start playback.
This would apply to both Truffles and Truffle.
Questions / Concerns:
Should entering looping mode automatically start the slice, or should it wait for a trigger so it can be synced with a clock
If it waits for a clock, should it also wait for a clock when the CV for active is played again.
Next Steps:
Overall this is getting a bit complicated, so I think I'd like to wait for another person to request this feature before moving forward with it.
