@pathmann I have tried to contact you though https://gitter.im/pyTSon-ts3/Lobby but sadly it seems everybody rarely checks it. I wanted to know if pyTSon has been paused for the time being because of TeamSpeak 5?
Sorry, I didn't get any notification from gitter and don't check in there regularly. In fact, the missing update has nothing to do with TeamSpeak 5.
With the update of TeamSpeak 3 to api version 23, TeamSpeak Systems updated Qt. So to update pyTSon, I have to regenerate pythonQt and rebuild my build environment(s).
P.S.: TeamSpeak 5 is not just a reskin of TeamSpeak 3. I doubt, that pyTSon will be available for TeamSpeak 5 at any time. Currently, there is no plugin system, and I guess when there is one, its JavaScript based. So if they do it right, there should be no need for a plugin like pyTSon for TeamSpeak 5, because you can build your plugins with JavaScript.
Np mate. What makes you think that they might be using JavaScript? I really don't want to have to use JavaScript...
Because TeamSpeak 5 is built with it.
All I can say is, thank you for creating pyTSon. It's a shame it's probably not going to be supported for TS5, but I doubt that the TS5 team will do a good job. So I will definitely be keeping a close eye on pyTSon ;)
Is this the end for pytson then?
See my second last post here. I still had no time

I'm sorry, but there won't be any updates/releases on pyTSon (at least from my side). Well, after almost 4 years since the last release a huge surprise :joy:
I rarely use TeamSpeak anymore and I'm not really up to date about TeamSpeak and the community at all (tbh I had to google if there are plugins in TS5 nowadays).
Feel free to fork!
Thanks!
