Proposed def: A quality inhering in a bearer by virtue of that bearer being the output of or causally influenced by a human-mediated processes.

There should be a better way to say 'causally influenced by'. There's also a threshold issue: many entities are influenced by humans, but would not be qualify as anthropogenic as the absence of that human activity would not change them substantially. Something like ENVO's 'determined by' comes to mind (despite it having systems as its range): if an entity is ~'determined by' human-mediated processes (such that the absence of those processes would result in that entity being qualitatively different) it may be said to be anthropogenic.

@cmungall can RO's causal relations help out here?

I agree with use of causal relations

I'm not sure PATO is the best home. Not every quality in the universe should live here. It feels in the domain of ENVO, at least terminologically. What do others think?
