Hi, the app will be available very shortly - the desire is a small screen
device and the market needs apps to be flagged as 'available' on smaller
devices.
Rather than waiting, you can however install the apk directly from here:
http://www.epicollect.net/epicollect.apk
you'll need to allow non-market apps to be installed (within application
settings on your phone) then load the link above on the phones browser and once
downloaded click to install.
all the best

Thanks David,
Have now got the application installed on the phone. Am hitting a few issues,
but will see if I can resolve them before reporting them back to you....
Had a feeling that the issue with it not appearing in the market was to do
with the wildfire being a small-screen.
Thanks for your help.

Am afraid the problem I have is rather generic. I have generated a single form
on the site and pointed the app to the site, but whether I select new entry,
list entries or Display Map, I get the following error message;
The application Epicollect (process uk.ac.imperial.epi_collect) has stopped
unexpectedly. please try again
Everything works fine with the demoproject though so not sure if it is a
problem with the form I have played around with....

Hi Dan,
have you used "date" as a field name? This sometimes causes this issue. Can you
send us the name of your project?
Thanks,
Chris

Chris,
The project name is ACD.ZM
I did indeed have a date field, but deleting it hasn't stopped the issue (so
far)....
Hope there is a simple solution.

Dan,
It looks like it's because there's a dot in the project name, I'll pass this on
to Derek, our Android developer. In the mean time I've changed your project to
ACD_ZM so it should work with that name.

Hi, I also have an HTC Wildfire handset. I was able to install EpiCollect using
the link in this thread. However, is this perhaps an older version of the
application? For instance, although I am able to add new entries using the
handset, the 'Tap to Synchronize Entries' is not present under 'List Entries',
so I can't retrieve entries made from other handsets (e.g. my iPod).
