Installation Help!

Hi, I clicked on a couple different things (like Clone & opening the Zip file) before actually finding the installer. And now, when I run the installer, I get an error that another version is already installed. But, Mu does not appear in my programs, nor does it appear in add/remove programs, nor is there a folder in Program Files. How can I proceed? Thanks!

Does it show up in the list of applications when you hit the WIN key and type mu afterwards?

Not sure whether Mu stores values in the registry. But have you tried a registry cleaner?

No, it does not show up :( I have not tried a reg cleaner. Do you have one you recommend?

No specific recommendation on the regcleaner just get a free one from the internet.

But before that you should have a look whether mu still stored files in the following folder. %userprofile%\AppData\Local\Mu

Try deleting those and see whether you can re-run the installation afterwards.

Well, I didn't change anything, but I just tried installing it again and now it works! So, OK2close.

Not sure what "same issue" you do have? You do not find the configuration files? Would try to help but you will have to be more precise what exactly is going wrong.

I didn’t make any changes, but it worked a few days later, after which I’d probably restarted the computer a few times.
