Force closes on Desire HD

What steps will reproduce the problem?
Just running the app for a few seconds seems to always cause a crash

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Not crashing...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Desire HD
Latest stock HTC firmware (Froyo 2.2.1)
Mindroid Dec 21 update

yes, i have many crashes on htc desire hd too! many errors of loading chunks.

Hello - I have a HTC Desire also and I get the same problem - this is an 
awesome idea and i'd love to see it work

It loads for a few seconds and I see a small amount of blocks - then the screen 
goes black, i can still press menu to get to the options, when i cancel out of 
the menu the picture returns loading the world... then goes blank again - I 
hope that helps

try the new update here http://code.google.com/p/minedroid/ and it might be 
worth a try hitting menu and disabling gui chunk load display (worked on my 
vodafone 845!)
