Ideally I'd prefer to separate out the channels. This way new users will be made
aware that JaikuEngine instances have different kinds of streams: users and 
channels.
In the old jaiku.com channels were often buried amongst people's human contacts 
and
so new users often didn't spot interesting channels.

I agree on separating them out, this will require a new sidebar section, 
possibly
some styling and a call to get channel memberships for the actor_history and
actor_overview pages
