Syntax OK

What browser version did you use to access the mod_spdy server?  On what
operating system? What flags was the browser invoked with?  (For
Chrome/Chromium, go to about:version to check.)

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. starting apache
2.

What is the expected result? What do you see instead?

httpd: Syntax error on line 210 of /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on 
line 1 of /etc/httpd/conf.d/spdy.conf: Cannot load 
/usr/lib64/httpd/modules/mod_spdy.so into server: /usr/lib64/libstdc++.so.6: 
version `GLIBCXX_3.4.11' not found (required by 
/usr/lib64/httpd/modules/mod_spdy.so)

Please provide any additional information below.

We require access to older rpm's for our centos 5 installation so that we can 
correct the above issue. Upgrading GLIB is not an option.

Unfortunately, older pre-built binaries are not available.  Even if they were, 
I would strongly recommend against using them, as the older binaries were 
susceptible to the Heartbleed security vulnerability.

You might have luck building mod_spdy from source using your current version of 
GLIB.  See https://code.google.com/p/mod-spdy/wiki/GettingStarted for 
instructions.

Do you have any instructions for centos building from source to incorporate 
older libaries?
