Bug in function Integrate[] #24

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
I call the function: "Integrate[2x^2/(x^3+1),x]"

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is 2/3 log(x^3+1). But the result is
2/3*1/3*Log[x+1]*Log[x^2+x+2]

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Improved JASConvert for the Integrate[] results.
http://code.google.com/p/symja/source/detail?r=566

The result:
 2*(1/3*Log[x^2-x+1]+1/3*Log[x+1])
is an alternate form for:
 2/3 log(x^3+1)
