For users to enjoy / use the world map feature more we can:

[x] introduce the control panel buttons floating below the world view
[x] change right panel & full-screen mode's background to black with 50% or so opacity
[x] Tweak: Please make sure zoom level changes when user jumps between tabs to include all map results
