Hi, Please supply your whole dmesg logs and more information about configuration like OS etc. Did you have that same on 3.18 kernel?
Could you test with option: options rt2800usb nohwcrypt=1 ?
I will test it. Strange enough though - I just compiled and installed your most recent kernel on Ubuntu 15.04 with gcc 4.9 and currently everything runs fine. I am not sure where this issue comes from. Might also be related to a bad signal at my current location (however I never observed it with Udoo's stock ubuntu).

The problem is somewhat random but seems to be pretty repeatable... The reconnects can be seen below. I am using Network manager but the same problem happened with manual config in /etc/interfaces.
Now I am going to test with nohwcrypt ... will take some time....

Problem related to wpa_s or nm from debian and ubuntu 14.10.
My wlan on the Udoo quad is very unstable with this current 4.0 kernel (not tested with 3.18 branch). I am wondering if someone else has the same problems.
The wlan continuously connects and disconnects (once per minute up to several minutes):
I did not have the same issue with the Ubuntu image on udoo.org.
Running Debian jessie
