I think the current documentation page being viewed should be highlighted within the navigation. This will allow the user reviewing the documentation by going down the list of navigation items to quickly figure out what section they are reading and what section they will need to read next. Currently its difficult to spot what navigation item you're on, in a worst case requiring you to review the entire list to spot the current and next page you should be reading. Having some type of bread crumb system for pages might also help.
