Hello,

My name is Jonathan and I work with the introductory computer science courses at the University of Washington. Some posts in this repository contain solution code to homework assignments identical to our own.

Tile Manager https://github.com/pattyp16/HungryLions/blob/master/Assignment%2011/TileManager.java

Critters https://github.com/pattyp16/HungryLions/blob/master/Assignment%2010/Ant.java https://github.com/pattyp16/HungryLions/blob/master/Assignment%2010/Bird.java https://github.com/pattyp16/HungryLions/blob/master/Assignment%2010/Hippo.java https://github.com/pattyp16/HungryLions/blob/master/Assignment%2010/Vulture.java

These posts' solution codes are indexed by Google, enabling current students to easily find them and cheat on their assignments.

Would you please remove these posts or make them private in order to help us enforce our academic policy?

By removing them, you would be removing tools that our students could use in academic misconduct.

Thank you, Jonathan Sanders CSE 14X Program Coordinator University of Washington jsanders@cs.washington.edu

Hello, I apologize for that. My teacher made me create a GitHub for class and to practice pushing code to master. I did not realize that it would be public and available to the University of Washington's Computer Science students. I have deleted the files in question, so I hope everything is okay now. Thank you.

No worries, thank you for removing them!

It's perfectly understandable that it might not occur to your teacher that the code would be easy for our students to copy and submit as their own work, but unfortunately it happens frequently so we're trying to keep it under control.

Have a great day, Jonathan
