Made updating position logic more resilient #42

This PR addresses https://github.com/paukstelis/Octoprint-Cancelobject/issues/41. It implements recommendations 1 and 2.

Tested with OctoPrint 1.4.0rc3.post1.dev0+g74f3bc9a and Python 3. The attached gcode can reproduce the error and pass with this PR.
