slow on firefox 3.0.1 mac #141

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the page that use the calendar library with Firefox 3.0.1 Mac
2.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The calendar should be instantly shown on the page, it has significant
delay approx 500ms (which captured by firebug's profiler) instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Firefox 3.0.1 for OS X

Please provide any additional information below.
The scripts seems to be fine when the page was opened by using Safari 3.1.
No other libraries are used.
Firebugs's profiler said that most of the execution time (approx
69%~288.5ms) was consumed by Element.build function.
Could it be a specific javascript engine issue in Firefox or something else?
