I see why you think this is a good idea! At the same time, if you extract the contents of an archive on Linux, you get a folder with the same name, which in turn contains the actual stuff. I think the suggested rephrasing might make it clearer for some but confusing for others. What do you think?
As a solution to this different behavior I just went with adding this file structure thing in the README:
