I would love to have the option to use BOTH Hardlinks AND Symlinks, since I have a use case, where I would have to hardlink across device borders (which obviously isn't possible) but would prefer Hardlinks to Symlinks. Maybe if you activate both Hardlinks AND Symlinks it would prefer hardlinks, and use symlinks, where Hardlinks are not possible.
