How should the welcome-strings be translated?

The Dutch translation is almost done. I will walk through all translations
again tomorrow to check consistency and to apply some good ideas of other
translators. Translating isn't easy!

Ok thx for that.
Yes welcome strings is a little bit weird. It's HTML formatted string. I think
that in the stable release Welcome screen and ChangeLog screen will be web
apps.
So not really critical to translate that. (All the more so as it appear only
one time)

german translation of "data type" and "scheme"-options (in an account settings)
are wrong. The options to select are "schwaches
Passwort/Einstellungsübersicht" (data type) and "Kurzfassung/PGP" (scheme).
Don't think that's what it should be.
Also the translation for "SRTP-Modus" should be "Deaktiviert/Aktiviert (falls
unterstützt)/Erzwungen (Verbindungen ohne SRTP werden zurückgewiesen)" to
better reflect what they mean. Last brackets can be left out if it's too long,
but they explain it a little bit better that no connection will be possible if
the other end does not supper SRTP. (and option 2 should be default for new
accounts, btw - if it isn't already).

@markus: you can correct it yourself. Look in the wiki for how-to:

i just searched for the strings i mentioned (and did some other translation
btw), but i cannot find them. Where are they, in which template? (checked
nearly every wizard-* template and some others, too)
Original comment by markus.d...@gmail.com

Should be in wizard-expert.
If I do not mistake data type can be pain password and data digest. And scheme
can be digest or pgp.
For srtp it's probably in preferences.

Okey, found them. All were in "prefs-choices". Corrected them.

"Picture too large. Compressing\u2026"
"Recipient:\u0020"
"Sending\u2026"
What are the codes at the end for?
Original comment by mar...@bokhorst.biz

Codes are unicode chars, do not remove (just left \u2026). For example \u2026
is ... in one char :).

The Dutch translation is done now.
Maybe someone can replace 'provider' by 'aanbieder' in all texts.
How can I test the translation? By downloading a nightly build?

I've to merge the contribution with the source code.
I do that about each week (probably one tomorrow). (There is also the time for
launchpad to report contribution into trunk source).

How can I search in a translation (all of a language) or how can I download it?

Translations of the project has moved to Transifex.
https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/csipsimple/
You can join and login with an openid, twitter, google, facebook or create an
account on Transifex.
It will be better than rosetta because it directly integrates to android
translation system and I can immediately port translations into source code.
When you are logged in, just push a request to be part of the translation team
for your language.

The Swedish translation is now ready on Transifex. I guess they will show up
when a new release is made, and not on the nigthly builds?
If any Swedish user finds any errors, please add a new suggestion!
Régis: Do you want a Swedish translation on the Google Play description?

Many thanks !
I've pushed your translation in source code. It will be in nightly builds
(http://nightlies.csipsimple.com/trunk/) tonight :). So if the device is with
language code SV, it will display your Swedish translation. Else let me know :
there is maybe something wrong I did :)
About the Google Play description, if you have some generic translation it will
be great indeed :).

Hi, I want to contribute to Simplified Chinese (zh_CN) translation. I have sent
a request on transifex, but got no response. Could someone grant me the
permissions? Thanks in advance. My transifex username is suokunlong.

I finished the rest of translation for Simplified Chinese.
It will be better if someone can review and verify it in new load.
