Better leave the user with the ability to choose rgb/rgba as color values rather then convert everything to hex

We could further improve the integration with the colorpicker as if you first enter rgb values and then open the colorpicker, the picker doesn't pick up the value since it expects a hex value.

I think we can merge and I can open a separate issue to improve the colorpicker soon.
