Whoops. I'm leaving open while it is down in case others come here looking. But no more posts please, we are both aware and I'm looking into it to see if the configs are messed up somewhere.

Nothing else to really do now except wait. Paul is busy and I need to get with him about the CNAME config. Other then that everything looks right as far as the github docs on pages go.

It could just be slow propagation. But other than that it appears as if the routing is actually borked which only he has access to.

So if you modify the hosts file on your computer then the site load? What is the target of the CNAME?

Look, I'm pretty good at debugging these kinds of issues and as I said no more posts. All these extra comments are doing is adding more email being thrown around that we don't need.

I don't know what the CNAME target is which is why I need to wait for Paul to get off work so we can sit down for a few minutes and I can get the data I need from him. Until then, there is nothing anyone can do about this.

W3Fools can be down for a day, it isn't a big deal.
