An tantalum capacitor with the 2 leads twisted together? I suspect the mobile threading joke behind that is mostly lost..

How about just letters "Ta", in nice font and possibly some hand drawn tweaks?

I made this capacitor with "Ta" on it. I'll send it on the morning. But yes, plain "Ta" with nice font could be enough too. Maybe one electron orbiting it or something...

Nice concept.

Is there an svg version available?

Comment: maybe the "legs" could be shorter, so "Ta" text would be proportionally larger (more visible with small icon sizes).
