0.5-series does not support Banshee or most players

What steps will reproduce the problem?

I wanted to checkout the 0.5-series branch since it has another source that 
seems more reliable. However, after building it, it turns out it doesn't 
support Banshee and list of supported players is empty.

What's the player and which version you are using?

Yes, for now the 0.5 series only supports MPRIS2-compatible players, and the 
supported players are not on the list. 0.5 series is still in early development 
stage and hasn't been updated for long due to my laziness. I'm sorry for that.

I've chosen VLC in the startup dialog, it starts but OSD stays at "trying to 
connect" state.
