I successfully install the add-on,but get a line-shape result. It's the terrain data generated by DJI Terra. It can be loaded by GlobalMapper. Can you give me some advice? 6DBM8F@A}6O9W5RZZI8G)JI

To figure out if this is a problem with the .ply file or with this importer, does the file load correctly when you use Blender's built-in PLY importer?

There was no error during the installation. I think it was installed correctly. However, ply files can also be opened correctly using GlobalMapper. So I don't really understand what the problem is.

Please test my suggestion: within Blender use File > Import > Stanford (.ply) and import your file using Blender's builtin importer. Does that give a different result than using the import script in this repo?

Thx! I successfully import the ply file. But I try to get depth map of the imported scene using compositing nodes and got nothing. Can you give me some advice?

I'm still not sure there is an actual issue with the plugin here. So unless you have more information for to check out I guess I will close this issue. For general Blender support the best place to ask is https://blenderartists.org/.
