Yeah, I think this is a great addition!

In theory this could be used in the swift part if someone preferred a struct instead of an enum but I think as it stands right now this is a solid implementation. I'll merge it, close #10 and if you're happy I can make a gem release ( or you can obi )

@orta I'm a bit rusty on the gem release process and I'm away until the beginning of next week - so I can pick it up then. I don't imagine there is rush on pushing a new release so I don't mind getting back into it if you don't get a chance before me.
