Nick: Support live collaborative editing between multiple devices in a single entry cell. Often we have one person on a machine performing scans on an instrument and noting this in a table, and another person on another machine performing analysis, writing the results in the same table. I acknowledge the need for a structured chronological submission of entries in a scientific logbook. Perhaps a pop-out live collaborative editor would be a solution were no entry is made to the electronic logbook until one person submits the current state of this live editor. It would help avoid the temptation of people to migrate part or all of a logbook to google docs etc. for such purposes.
