Hello, I have the AKAI APC40, and after some years absent from DJing, I want to make a fresh start with mixxx.app on OSX Ventura .

But I struggle to find , what Button , Fader and Knob is matched to what. For Example, I cannot find the High, Mid and Low EQs... I also tried the shift button, and all sorts of key combinations. Also, if I turn the Track control 1 Button(Top row leftmost, 1cc48), the sound changes, but nothing changes onscreen. I tried to understand the various .pm Files, but that stuff is beyond me. Did You ever make a Layout plan, that you could add to the XML File? I included a raw empty template, where You could draw stuff in.

That would help me a lot , Thank You!

Hello, and thank You for replying. I still am very interested in getting this to work, preferably in OS X or Linux, and only as a last resort I would use Windows. I tried to figure out how to "run" or "compile" that stuff You made, but did not get too far. I browsed through the Mixxx source code, but there were few Perl modules, if any. Any help would be appreciated! My native language is German, but English is just fine. You can also reach me via shivahoj@posteo.de.

Yes, I am definitely interested. Right now, I am at work, but as soon as I get home, I will look into your code on your  GitHub and ask a few specific questions.Mainly it was about “getting it to work”, that means integrating Your work into a compiled Mixxx program or into the source tree.
