The list of model organisms that researchers are using for studies of development is the following:

• Human - Homo sapiens
• Mouse - Mus Musculus
• Zebrafish - Danio rerio
• Chick embryo - Gallus gallus
• Frog embryo - Xenopus laevis
• Sea squirt - Ciona intestinalis / Phallusia mammillata
• Fruit fly - Drosophila melanogaster
• Red flour beetle - Tribolium castaneum
• Cricket - Gryllus bimaculatus
• Amphipod crustacean - Parhyale hawaiensis

We are hoping to feature datasets of early embryogenesis for each of these species. It could be great to have an organized page to access each of them.
