What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Download and unzip the Mac package on a Mavericks (10.9) system
2. Double-click the application.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

- Expect the application to start.
- Alert comes up saying the application is damaged and cannot run.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

- RESTClient 3.2.1 on Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks

Have you verified the checksum after download?

Updated the plugin for generating Mac binaries to:

http://agiliumlabs.com/osxappbundle-maven-plugin/

from the old-not-updated-one:

The problem becomes more interesting: when I generate the .dmg in my mac, it
opens fine. When I upload the same to download.wiztools.org and then download
and try to open, I get a "Damaged" message.

What have you done Apple?

Enable all downloads removes this message: System Preferences > Security &
Privacy > General > Allow apps downloaded from: Anywhere

Will update this wiki shortly:
