accented characters don't work in library browsing #121

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.From the Library, try to play a file in a directory with accented character 
in name, e.g. /Volumes/externalHD/été_2011/vacances.avi

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
expected: file should be played
instead: file is not played

What version of VLC Remote are you using?
0.5.3

What version of VLC are you using?
1.1.11

What version of Android are you using?
2.2

Which Android device are you using?
HTC Desire
