VLC handles DVDs that I have ripped to the HDD very nicely, - I just "play" the
IFO file. It is associated with VLC, so I just doubleclick VIDEO_TS.IFO, and
the DVD plays correctly, with menus etc as applicable. However, launching the
same IFO file from within the Remote For VLC app results in the error:
_____
Playback failure:
DVDRead could not open the disc "".
Your input can't be opened:
VLC is unable to open the MRL 'dvd:///'. Check the log for details.
________

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.selecting a *.IFO file from the library within VLC remote.
2.
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I would expect the ripped DVD files to play normally. Instead, they don't
play, and th above error is displayed..

What version of Android are you using?

For video in DVD format, press and hold on the folder and select "Play"
