DVD Controls with Remote

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Playing a dvd on VLC.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
When a DVD is played on VLC, VLC Remote should allow for controls to
navigate a DVD disc. While pause/play, volume, full screen all work as
expected, one is unable to advance chapters or select items from a menu.

Which Android device are you using?
HTC Hero on Sprint

Please provide any additional information below.
It may not be possible, but if the remote sees the media as dvd://, it
would be great if additional buttons (up/down/left/right/select) showed up
to allow one to navigate a dvd menu or at least select different chapters.

AFAIK it is not possible to do DVD navigation with the current HTTP interface :(
