can't open file #91

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.install the latest VLC remote version 0.5.3
2. install the latest VLC version 1.1.11
3. try to open a file from your device

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I see an error in the VLC application saying that the file can't be found

What version of VLC Remote are you using?
0.5.3

What version of VLC are you using?
1.1.11

What version of Android are you using?
3.1

Which Android device are you using?
samsung galaxy tab 10.1

Please provide any additional information below.
i am on windows xp sp 3

Which file?  On Windows, there are some special files that won't open with VLC 
when using a remote (for example, "My Music").

It was an avi file. When i try to open it. it says it can't find it. The
path looks fine i think the problem is that it starts with file:///
I can send you an screenshot if you want.

Could you post the file name?  Does it have an apostrophe in it?

Yeah!!!!!! That was the problem the apostrophe (') was causing the problem
I tried with out it and it worked. Is there a way to prevent or solve that?
