License GPL or LGPL #34

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. The Google code homepage says the license is LGPL
2. The FaCTpp-linux-v1.5.2.tgz include a Fact++.license.txt file, claiming the
license is GPL instead of LGPL.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I would like to see a definite answer about the license, and hope the answer is
LGPL, instead of GPL.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
1.5.2

Please provide any additional information below.

The license for FaCT++ is LGPL. The licensing file in the FaCT++ is related
only to a command-line version that works with LISP-like ontology description.
All other versions of FaCT++, including OWL API PWLReasoner implementation and
DIG version, are licensed under LGPL.
