Sorry to break the news to you, but the command line tool you made this GUI for isn't very good.

There's already a far superior BLP converter. It has better conversion/compatibility, has live previews, and has batch conversion, and it has existed for over a decade. :-P

Example of a comment about BLPC (which is referring to artifacts created by the tool you made this GUI for):

Thank you so much for this program (BLPC). Every other converter I've used left noticeable artifacts or banding, but with this everything was completely smooth. My OCD and I thank you.

I hope this news helps you make the switch to using Blpc though. It rocks!

Thanks, I guess I haven't found it when I was playing with the BLPs. I'll check it out.

You're welcome. It's really good. The only issue with it that I am aware of is the bug mentioned in the comments on that webpage. It's relevant for you since you seem to be doing batch processing.

It's basically copying the file list from the batch folders into an internal queue array, which is apparently never being wiped.

The source code is included and it's a very simple bugfix if you need the batch feature. The internal work queue just needs to be emptied at the start (and end) of every batch run, before it queues the new run's files.

Anyway, I agree, this tool was well hidden. I only found it thanks to the wow wiki page about BLP files which in turn linked to a long list of addon author tools, and this was buried in that list. :-P
