Hi @johnmanko,
Unfortunately the reproducer you provided leads to a 404 page. Please, can you provide a simple to follow scenario on how to reproduce this on the latest release of Payara Community Edition? A reproducer should ideally follow the SSCCE rules: http://www.sscce.org/. It will greatly help us to find the cause and fix it.
Thanks, James
@JamesHillyard I moved the project: https://github.com/johnmanko/payara-micro-plugin-group
@JamesHillyard I should also note that I have to completely disabled Hazelcast to run Payara Micro.
Hi @johnmanko,
Thank you for providing an update, I have done the following steps:
mvn clean install
payara-micro-plugin-group\payara-micro-plugin-example
directoryHave I executed your reproducer correctly, as I am still unable to reproduce your issue?
Thanks, James
@JamesHillyard I corrected the project so that it does work, but if you remove options --postbootcommandfile
and --nocluster
from the pom.xml, does it still run? It fails for me.
<commandLineOptions>
<option>
<key>--autoBindHttp</key>
</option>
<option>
<key>--nocluster</key>
</option>
<option>
<key>--port</key>
<value>8095</value>
</option>
<option>
<key>--postbootcommandfile</key>
<value>${project.basedir}/post-boot-commands.txt</value>
</option>
<option>
<key>--deploy</key>
<value>${project.build.directory}/${project.build.finalName}</value>
</option>
</commandLineOptions>
Hi @johnmanko,
Thank you for the update, I have reran the reproducer using the same steps as I explained previously but removing --postbootcommandfile
and --nocluster
from the pom.xml after cloning the reproducer, and payara micro still starts successfully for me.
As I am unable to reproduce this issue, it's possible this is a configuration issue with your environment, are you able to verify this on a different environment? Alternatively, does adding the jvm argument -Djava.net.preferIPv6Addresses=true
allow Payara Micro to start successfully?
Thanks, James
@JamesHillyard I will try tomorrow.
@JamesHillyard Disabling cluster works. The complete pom config is:
