Database error: Lock wait timeout exceeded #12

Hello,

I have recently installed Woocommerce and this plugin on my wordpress installation. After moving to another server though, any payment does not work anymore and takes almost infinitely long to redirect pack to my page. During that time, the following error shows up in the PHP error log:

WordPress database error Lock wait timeout exceeded; try restarting transaction for query DELETE FROM wp_options WHERE option_name LIKE '\\\\_transient\\\\_%1529618406' ORDER BY option_id LIMIT 1000; made by require('wp-blog-header.php'), require_once('wp-load.php'), require_once('wp-config.php'), require_once('wp-settings.php'), do_action('init'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, WC_SerialManager->on_init, WC_Product->save, WC_Data_Store->update, WC_Product_Data_Store_CPT->update, WC_Product_Data_Store_CPT->update_version_and_type, wp_set_object_terms, do_action('set_object_terms'), WP_Hook->do_action, WP_Hook->apply_filters, WC_Post_Data::set_object_terms, WC_Post_Data::delete_product_query_transients, WC_Cache_Helper::get_transient_version, WC_Cache_Helper::delete_version_transients

This error show up multiple times before the page eventually loads (sometimes). Is this something Payfort-related? I could not find anything wordpress related through a google search...
