Clean up auxiliary scripts #222

Right now there are two bash auxiliary scripts inside the repo:

install-dependencies.sh
publish.sh

I have strong reasons to think that they should be replaced or improved:

to be more declarative (like ansible/nixops scripts)
to be less confusing (e.g. publish.sh actually doesn't publish anything, it create several binaries for several different platforms)

Any thoughts?

I have created install-dependencies.sh specifically for Travis. But it is also handy for setting up the project. For this script I don't think it makes sense to use ansible. But I am not sure about publish.sh

I propose to change publish.sh to actually publish artefacts as releases on github.
