Hi,

I'm new to notmuch and I was wondering if there was a way my emails could be numbered and then I could jump to a specific one easily?

Alternatively, what is the best way, when you are in the index, to quickly get to a particular email?

Thank you for your time and for alot.

If you really want to jumpt to a unique mail, there is always the possibility to search for the exact Message-ID header value (search id:...).

Hi,

Thanks for your reply, but I think I didn't express myself very well.

Suppose that you open alot, and then you want to read the 20th email or so. How would you do that? In mutt for example, emails are numbered so you can jump easily between them.
