Rufus: Undetermined Error while Formatting #364

Closed ghost closed 10 years ago

ghost commented 10 years ago

Hello! I was using your Rufus application in order to put a Ubuntu Live CD on my USB. It completed successfully numerous times. However, the next day, I put on a different CD on the USB - MiniTool Partition Wizard CD. It completed successfully. However, when I went to put the Ubuntu Live CD back on, it gave me this error: Rufus: Undetermined Error while Formatting. Thinking that this was either a file corruption or a corruption in the program, I redownloaded the Ubuntu CD and the Rufus application, with the exact same results. Here are the logs when I try to put the Ubuntu Live CD on now.

Please note that I also wiped my computer, and tried it on another computer.

I also used ChkDsk on the USB - no bad sectors.

Try to run a bad blocks check, and then try the ISO again.
