Hm, Qt 5.15 should still support macOS 11 in theory, says https://doc.qt.io/qt-5/macos.html.
It would be interesting what happens if you build the application yourself (see https://www.qownnotes.org/installation/building.html).

I do understand this seams to be related to an issue with Qt in MacOS; but I do also wish to use your app; How could we figure that ?
