Installer should install in any Python 2.x version #36

I got a report of someone saying that the installer said "No Python 
installation found in registry" even though 2.7 was installed.

Need verification and fixing.

I tried to verify, but I cannot. Maybe the Python was not installed correctly 
(i.e. not properly registered)? 

I can also not see what we could have done wrong in the setup.py script to 
prevent this ...
