When you create a new material you can add as many raw materials as you want, and set the units used, and based on these raw materials you will have a new material that can be used in jobs, along with an auto generated batch number. And at anytime you will have a record to keep track of the raw materials used, qunatity, and type that you reference. And then with this material you can test it in the real environment, i.e. you can use this paint and if it's good you can use the app to upload a file of maybe a picture example of the paint, or anything else to see it's good. Let me know if I got the right idea.
We are also starting to do manufacturing of our own materials. I need to create a live log that can assist in quality control. we need to be able to record what raw materials(and age of each material) went into the batch. Then autocreate a batch number when complete. Also alowung us to do the testing and have the testing be recorded in the file with the batch.
Let me know your thoughts on this! we have not started manufacturing yet but we will be in June/july and I want to be ready
