No input in Crimsonland Game on Steam

Steps will reproduce the problem?

1. Launch Crimsonland and try to play a co op game by joining with a controller.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The gamepad doesn't work at all, it seems as it's not recognized: i can see the 
green status in x360ce and my controller works fine there but once i start the 
game it doesn't get any input (also i am not hearing the init beep and no log 
is produced even if i check that option).

What versions of x360ce and Windows are you using?

x360ce.App-2.1.2.191, x360ce_lib32_r848_VS2010 on Windows 7 Home Premium x64 
Fully Updated.

What gamepad do you use? On what drivers version?

Saitek P880 - Microsoft Driver 6.1.7601.18199

Please attach a log file created with Log=1 setting in x360ce.ini file.
(LOG MUST BE FROM THE GAME, NOT X360CE)

As i said before, no log file is created.
Also, i can play almost every other game i own with the same setup, so this 
would probably be a game issue, but other people are saying that it's working 
for them.. so i'd like to know if there's something else to check before i give 
up.

Please read the Tutorial, specifically the section on determining which Xinput 
dll is required.
