Installed 5.10 for my device, verified that it's using the Logitech drivers.

Still no change in functionality. This pad works fine with the generic MS
drivers for everything else, and I've used x360ce with it for many 32 and
64-bit games, FWIW.

New log file attached.

is gamepad support turned on in the games settings?

There's no such option exposed to the user, either at the main menu, or in-game
(that I can see).

If I disable/remove x360ce, the game detects the controller, but the button
mappings are messed up, and again, the game doesn't expose the ability to
change them, only keyboard mappings. To elaborate, the messed up button mapping
has A and B mis-mapped in what should be the X and A positions respectively, Y
is mapped correctly, but R2 acts as the start button, etc.

I feel kind of bad because you're right, x360ce is probably working fine, it's
just From Software's notoriously shitty and lazy approach to control support,
which is nothing new, coming around to screw the user again. That said, I'm
willing to do just about whatever I can to help diagnose a fix, so let me know
what you need from me.
