PLEASE READ LIBRARIES MANUAL BEFORE REPORTING ISSUES:
http://bit.ly/1I6QAb9

Always make sure you use latest x360ce libraries!
Bugs created using older versions will be marked invalid as user error.
r848 vc10 is currently the latest version.

Steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Use x360ce x360ce.App-2.1.2.191 to create profile.
2. Edit the ini to c=use HookLL=1 and HookCom=1.
3. Copy ini to game folder with updated x360ce.gdb, dinput8.dll and
xinput1_3.dll from the x360ce_lib64_r848_VS2010 library.
4. start game and see black screen and then DarkSouls II Scholar of the First
Sin stopped working error.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
What I expect is the game to load and the controls to work as configured in ini
file. I hear the ding like it configured, then what I see is it not working.

What versions of x360ce and Windows are you using?
x360ce.App-2.1.2.191, x360ce_lib64_r848_VS2010, Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Service Pack 1 currently up to date.

What gamepad do you use? On what drivers version?
Not a gamepad, Microsoft Sidewinder Precision 2 flight stick, only drivers
available are what windows loads by default and are up to date.

Please attach a log file created with Log=1 setting in x360ce.ini file.

Something I found, but not sure if it matters ... in Task Manager's Resource
Monitor under Associated Modules, Dark Souls 2 SotFS is using the dinput8.dll
and xinput1_3.dll from the Windows\System32 directory. When I check the same
under regular Dark Souls 2 they are showing as under the game directory.

There used to be a dinput8.dll (by RacerS if memory serves) that was just a
blocker. Do you still make that? At least then I'd be able to use JoyToKey and
my ergonomic flight stick (carpal tunnel hurts like hell using a gamepad).

do not enable HookLL

make sure the joystick is the preferred device in joy.cpl.
