Game need some hooks (possible only HookCOM), wait for gdb or add them manually
to ini. If yo do not know what are hooks, read the freaking manual ...

I used the HookCOM option to get the game to fix the Axis problem, however the
buttons were messed up with my current x360ceini file. So I used an old 2012
x360ce.ini file and it worked. Turns out the latest Xboxce App was programming
the buttons wrong.
I also use a PS2 Controller with the Twin USB Adapter.

I have logitech dualaction which is basically a PS2 controller and I'm having
the same issues...how doe you use the HookCOM option to fix the axis? Also
I've tried remapping the buttons but it seems to have inverted everything. I
guess I'll have to use the keyboard to play it for now.

Open the x360ce.gdb file using Notepad.
Add this with the other games:
[Murdered.exe]
Name = Murdered Soul Suspect
HookMask = 0x00000002
And save the file.
Put the file along with your x360ce.ini file and a 64-bit version of
xinput1_3.dll in the bin folder of the game, where the Murdered.exe is found.
If the buttons are screwed up, try using an older x360.ini file you've done.

One more thing: after doing what I mentioned above, you might get a warning
message before the game starts. Pay no attention to it, the process works.
To get rid of the message, open the x360ce.ini file and under the [Option] box,
(it's the first one you'll see) put this under it:
Version=1
That's it. The game will now start with no annoying warning message. Enjoy. If
what I wrote still isn't working for you, the go to this website and ask for
help.

I did tried everythng and still,left and right are fine on left stick but up
and down are inverted,and camera i working very bad,i think down is left and up
is right and same happen to the other axis.If someone make the game work fine
or fixed the problem,it will be a bad thing to upload your files? i did make
that before with some games when i fixed i upload my files to other people to
try to help them.
And read the freaking manual ... are not the right words,maybe read manual if
you don't know what that is sounds more like the right answer,if someone don't
want to help me or the other people i don't know why are they doing here.
Sorry about my english,im not from US.I will try some things today,if i make it
work i'll let you know.

and even if i change something it wont work.I made it work before this but like

Still not working:
Ok i add this to the bin folder of the game to make the game run but messed
axis and buttons:
https://mega.co.nz/#!o9EHQIDJ!M2_Uy4DquZDFiBb53FlGkx9H_pMlnMwCt5cwjHaja-Y
Then i use Phillips Presets and save it.Then the game works and when you reach
to saving progress warning it should sound the beep.
If i add the x360ce file with the:
[Murdered.exe]
Name = Murdered Soul Suspect
HookMask = 0x00000002
on it the game crash at the begining after you hear the beep.
I hope you can fix that.

Download a version of x360ce 64-bit. Make sure it's the 64-bit version, not
32-bit.
In the Zip you should see three files: x360ce.gdb, dinput8.dll, and
xinput1_3.dll. These three files are the ones that matter.
Step 1. Open the x360ce.gdb file using notepad.
Step 2. You should see a lot of games with Hook instructions. Most of them with
the 0x00000002 instruction. That's the HookCOM instruction. Murdered uses the
same controller instruction.
Step 3. Add this to the gdb file with the other games:
[Murdered.exe]
Name = Murdered Soul Suspect
HookMask = 0x00000002
Save the x360ce.gdb file.
Step 4: Move the x360ce.gdb file and your controller programmed x360ce.ini (it
can be an older one, it doesn't matter) file to the game's 'Binaries' folder.
The same folder the Murdered.exe is located.
Step 5: Move the 64-bit versions of dinput8.dll and xinput.1_3.dll to the same
'Binaries' folder.
Step 6: The game should read the files properly and work, however, you might
get an error message about the versions not matching up.
Step 7. To get rid of the error message, open your x360ce.ini file and under
the [Options] section, it's the very first one you'll see, add Version=1.
That's it. The error message will be gone.
If that doesn't work, then do this:
Step 1. Open your controller programmed x360ce.ini file.
Step 2. Add this:
[InputHook]
HookLL=0
HookCOM=1
HookSA=0
HookWT=0
HookDI=0
HookPIDVID=0
HookName=0
Save and close the file. Move it and the 64-bit versions of dinput8.dll and
xinput3_1.dll to the game's 'Binaries' folder where the Murdered.exe is found.
If you get an error message, do step 7 as mentioned.
That's the best I can do. Good luck. And again, you can go to the link I
provided and ask for help.
