abbreviation limited to 5 characters, not handled. nothing to say we cant enter more than 5. we can enter empty fields by hitting space bar. nothing to say how many characters we can enter for each field, not handled if someone tries to enter 100 characters in a field (they are limited to 45 chars)

We'll have to put some time towards validating data. I think that is on the broad goals sheet that we whipped up on April 11 or 12.
