Can enter blank strain code, due to bug on strain form. Can enter blank plate generation. Nothing to say how many chars for plate generation. If you hit x on date and it goes to yyyy-mm-dd there is nothing to handle on submit for incorrect date. Nothing to say if we entered the data or not.

@wellkc Does this date field auto validate? A tooltip would help for the generation. @kayo321 Do you think a backend php validation is easier than a frontend JS validation for generation?
