This font is adorable. How about getting hosted on Google web fonts?

I'll second this for the following reason: It's impossible to use Hermit on ChromeOS unless it's available through Google Fonts.

I'm afraid Google requires a font to have cyrillic support in order to be added to Google Fonts (it actually needs to support all of the "Plus" charsets defined here. I'm not planning to extend the Hermit charset anytime soon, so it seems Hermit won't be in Google Fonts in the near future. Sorry.

I'll keep this issue open, in case the situation changes in the future.
