What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install the google tasks chrome extension, click on the icon, default list
appears
2. Change to another list, exit popup
3. click on the icon again

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Default list appears instead of last selected list

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Win7 Chrome

Please provide any additional information below.

If there is no setting to control it I agree that showing the last used list is
the best option. Another approach is to make it more predictable and always use
the list sorted first. This would let the user control this without needing an
option, by naming the list in a certain way.

I think a good approach to resolve this is to resolve Issue 3
(http://code.google.com/p/google-tasks-chrome-extension/issues/detail?id=3).
This will give the extension greater control of what happens in popup.html.
Currently the popup simply opens the iGoogle gadget.

I guess that would solve it, yes, but it feels like quite an achievment to
reimplement what the iGoogle gadget does. Another approach is to fix the
gadget. I see that when I run the gadget standalone, in its own tab, the same
"problem" is there that it does not remember my last list. But maybe changing
that is nothing that will happen anytime soon (it's done by another team I
presume).

Of course nothing has been fixed. Google has these forums to make themselves
appear as concerned when in fact they really don't care.
